Day 65 My Blue eyed boy

  This was me playing around with my 50mm 1.8 which has not seen the light of day in almost a year.  I thought it was time to play.  I usually keep my 35mm on my camera for a prime or if I need zoom I use my Tamron 17-50 2.8   I bought this 50mm several months after buying my camera  but since getting other lenses I rarely use it.  Not sure why,  I guess I just like the 35mm more.   So here is one of my blue eyed boys posing (if you can call it that) while I was playing my 50mm. 

Day 64 Birthday boy

My baby turns 3 tomorrow.  Where on earth did those three years go?  I think he will always be my baby.....The other 2 are allowed to get big and every time they do something new I'm so happy because they are learning and getting bigger.   When Ty does that I get sad,  it means my baby is growing up.

We celebrated today since my husband will be at work all day tomorrow.  We started right after his nap, he awoke to balloons everywhere.  Then he puked all over my husband as he was playing with the balloons with him.  uh oh  

We were really hoping it was just a bit of over excitement from the balloons.  Then he didn't touch his dinner...   We decided to give him cake anyway since it was his birthday and what kind of mommy would I be if I didn't let him have his own birthday cake?  

BAD MOVE!  I was woke up at 1 am by him trying to crawl into my bed....covered in vomit.  YUCK!   Happy Birthday. 

Oh well he played, blew out his candles on the monkey cake I made him, opened presents and had a great birthday :)   Minus the whole puke problem. 

Week 9

Bring on SPRING please!  I am running out of ideas for inside pictures and need a spring lift!  And I am really sick of all the white stuff that keeps falling from the sky outside :(

A quiet day is this house.  Not too much going on and getting ready for Ty's 3rd Birthday on Sunday.  We will celebrate tomorrow since daddy has to work Sunday. I had my camera out looking around for some inspiration when 2 of my boys decided they should be that inspiration.

Day 62 Snack time

So I had my picture all ready to go tonight.  I was sitting down to catch up on my blog which I have been putting off for a few days.   Grey's and Private Practice are a repeat tonight ( boo!)  so I took the time to pop a movie on for my youngest who was not ready for bed yet, and sit down at the computer.    My picture for the day is of Ty at playgroup this morning eating his snack.  BORING!

So then I am typing away I hear some noise in the kitchen.  Ty comes up to me and shows me his hands.....I thought it was blood!  Then he licked it,  turns out while I was sitting here working on my picture for the day he was getting into the fridge, getting out the jar of strawberry jam and helping himself.

I guess that's what I get for trying to do my blog before he goes to bed!

Day 61 A peacock?

So my 365 has taken a down turn this week.  Its been like pulling teeth to get a picture of anything. I guess I'm just having an off week,  hopefully I will find some inspiration for better pictures next week.  Today's picture is a peacock craft my son made yesterday at his playgroup.  He was so proud of it he had to show it to everybody who would look.  As soon as he saw Daddy he showed it off,  as soon as his brothers came in off the bus he showed it to them.  I'm not sure why he likes it so much but he had fun making it :)

Day 60 mmmm Chocolate

What happens when you live in the middle of nowhere and get a chocolate craving?

You invent your own chocolate cream cheese pie recipe.

And boy was it ever good!
